Course Overview

B.Sc Nursing

It is an undergraduate programme designed to

• Prepare graduates to assume responsibility as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services to all who needs nursing care.
• Prepare nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights and facilitate individual and groups in pursuit of health, function in hospital, community Health Nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume role of teacher, supervisor, and manager in clinical or public health setting.

Duration : 4 years

Eligibility

Age :

The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31^st December. This session the candidate who has not completed 17 years of age are not eligible to appear in this course No request for relaxation of the age limit will be entertained.

Upper Age Limit:-

25 Year (Male Candidate)

28 Year (Female Candidate)

Selection :
Selection of the candidates should be based on the merit in the entrance examination held by University or competent authority.

Duration of the Course :
Duration of the course shall be four completed years including clinical training of 24 weeks.

Medium of Instruction :
English shall be the medium for the course as well as for the examination.

Qualification :

The qualifying examination for selection is 12^th standard examination under 10+2 system (Bio Stream) of Rajasthan Board or an equivalent examination of any recognized Board/University.
